Leadership Portland Spotlight: Jennifer Sitton

Leadership Portland Spotlight: Jennifer Sitton

Name: Jennifer Sitton
Company: Hubbell Communications
Job: Account Executive

Why Jennifer got involved in Leadership Portland:
Portland and the rest of Oregon have seen significant changes in the last few decades and I want to be a part of the change in the years coming

Why it’s important:
The world we live in today creates silos among groups of people through their jobs, the people they associate with and the way they interact with the world online, but in order to fully understand the issues facing our community, we need to break down those silos and expand understanding of the challenges we collectively face, while taking into account the perspectives of others outside of our own groups. Leaders are those who are willing to engage in those conversations and Leadership Portland provides an outlet through which to do that.

Why Jennifer loves the Portland region:
I love the diversity of activities we have in the Portland region. On any given day you could hike the gorge, take a day trip to the beach, catch a Blazer game, explore downtown or visit Oregon's wine country.

Fun Fact:
I serve on the Board of Directors for a local nonprofit, Active Children Portland, and on the ambassador board (The Cabinet) for the Oregon Historical Society.
