AT&T Contributes $75,000 to American Red Cross Cascades Region to Aid Communities Impacted by Oregon Wildfires

AT&T* will present a $75,000 contribution to the American Red Cross Cascades Region, which serves three Red Cross Chapters in the state, as part of its pledge to aid communities impacted by the historic Oregon wildfires.  

“In these times of great need, AT&T is proud to step up and support organizations dedicated to supporting our first responders and helping our friends and families who have lost everything or been displaced by these devastating wildfires," said George Granger, President-AT&T Oregon. 

AT&T has also activated its Text to Give feature for customers who can text WILDFIRES to 90999 to donate $10 to the American Red Cross to help those affected by the wildfires.**  

“We are so grateful for the donation from AT&T, which comes at such a critical time,” said Dale Kunce, CEO of the American Red Cross Cascades Region. “AT&T has been at our side providing support to American Red Cross for decades, and we appreciate their commitment to supporting our communities in times of need.”

During the wildfires in Oregon, AT&T has supported customers, waiving overage charges on talk, text, and data usage by wireless customers in impacted areas, and providing call and message forwarding for our home and business phone customers.
