Central City Concerns: Cedar Commons Opens in Southeast Portland

Central City Concern's newest affordable housing development, Cedar Commons, is now open! Located at SE 115th and SE Division, Cedar Commons brings 60 new, supportive homes for our most vulnerable community members. This is our first development offering clinical services and supports for people facing unique and complex mental health needs.

Like so many of CCC's offerings, the voices of our clients experiencing homelessness informed the service delivery model at Cedar Commons. Based on client feedback, CCC has placed an onsite interdisciplinary team to provide comprehensive, wraparound support to residents. Cedar Commons will be the starting point of numerous journeys toward healing and recovery.

CCC offers our thanks to the entire development and funding teams behind Cedar Commons, including our turn-key partner Related NW as well as Walsh Construction and Ankrom Moisan. The $15.8 million project was financed by the Portland Housing Bureau, US Bank, Metro, Meyer Memorial Trust and Oregon Housing and Community Services. We also thank Multnomah County's Joint Office of Homeless Services for providing long-term operating subsidies.
