Director, Strategic Communications

The Director, Strategic Communications is responsible for directing and managing the creation and implementation of a strategic, multi-faceted communications plan designed to build and strengthen the Alliance’s role and reputation as a leader and authoritative voice for business in the Portland-metro region.

This position may serve as a primary spokesperson for the Alliance and is expected to develop relationships with key media and concentrate on media relations that are prioritized, focused, proactive, integrated and consistent. Additionally, this position will promote opportunities through media avenues to influence key external stakeholder groups, and enhance their understanding and support of the Alliance.

Vice President, Strategic Partnerships & Development

The Vice President of Strategic Partnerships and Development is responsible for providing the leadership and management of the membership and events departments for the purpose of growing and maintaining membership dues base, advertising and other non-dues revenue activities of the Alliance. This position will maintain existing programs, and initiate the creation of new services, as well as events that attract members and create an ongoing interest in Alliance activities.

Additionally, this position may support initiatives of the Alliance by identifying opportunities and developing proposals to funders, as well as provide oversight on the implementation of some programming and reporting across services.
