If you want to learn about the issues impacting our region and make a difference, then Leadership Portland is for you.
Leadership Portland is a program of the Alliance that broadens the perspectives of established business leaders on the most critical issues facing our region while giving back to the community. The program is designed to increase awareness of how business, government and community sectors work together to achieve common goals, and develops advanced skills in team management, critical and creative thinking, and problem solving.
The program runs September through June, beginning with a two-day retreat and continuing with one program day each month, October through May, and concludes with a graduation ceremony in June. In addition to attending the program days, program participants are required to complete a team-based community impact project in partnership with a local nonprofit.
To apply, candidates must submit an application, bio, resume, headshot and two letters of recommendation, one from their employer and one from a community organization with which they are involved.
An online application and support materials must be submitted by the Friday, May 18 deadline.
