Prosper Portland: Reopening Resources for Businesses

Prosper Portland is committed to helping Portland’s small businesses open with care under the guidance of State of Oregon and County requirements. As we continue to stand in solidarity with the movement to protect the safety and well-being of Black residents and the support of Black and BIPOC-owned businesses, we acknowledge the importance of sharing information about new resources for small businesses and nonprofits as the phased reopening begins.
On Friday, June 5, Multnomah County submitted its Reopening Framework to the State of Oregon to reopen much of public life and many businesses.
Governor Kate Brown approved Multnomah County’s application to enter Phase 1 effective Friday, June 19. In addition, effective Wednesday, June 24, face coverings are required while in indoor public spaces, such as grocery stores and other businesses, in Multnomah, Washington, and Clackamas counties (among others).
