Congratulations to the Public Service Training class of 2021

Congratulations to the Public Service Training class of 2021

Congratulations to the Public Service Training Class of 2021! Public Service Training (PST) is designed for established and emerging leaders who have a desire to deepen their connection to our community through service on government boards and commissions or pursuit of elected office. These participants have been involved in this six-month program which lets them be part of engaging, interactive class sessions and have the opportunity to learn from business and community leaders including elected officials.

PST objectives include providing practical tools and knowledge that will help business leaders to be effective in their volunteer public service, prepare business leaders who are interested in running for public office, and ensure that the business community is well represented on a wide range of policy-making bodies. These many objectives take place in program days that revolve around topics such as, Portland economic and political landscape, leadership training and decision making, media training, and many others.

Congrats again to the class!
