Executive Director, Pacific Northwest International Trade Association (PNITA)
Doug is the executive director of the Pacific Northwest International Trade Association (PNITA) and managing partner of Quinn Thomas, a strategic communications firm. Doug has 25 years of experience in public policy, politics and communications. During his 10-year career in Washington, D.C., Doug served as a senior aide to the United States Trade Representative in the Executive Office of the President, and chief of staff for a member of Congress on the House Ways and Means Subcommittee on Trade. While in D.C., Doug also served as president for both the Oregon State Society and University of Oregon Alumni Association’s National Capital Chapter.
Doug is a seventh-generation Oregonian and a graduate of the University of Oregon. He resides in Portland with his wife, Cindy, their daughter, Cassie, and son, Mickey.
