USGA and Chevron announce STEM scholarship program

Chevron and the United States Golf Association (USGA) have launched a new scholarship program for qualified high school seniors who are pursuing college careers in science, technology, engineering and math (STEM) subjects. The scholarships are available to students who plan to attend a four-year accredited college as a full-time student with a focus in STEM courses as well as those with a demonstrated interested in golf. Accepted students will receive an award ranging from $5,000 to $10,000. The program is part of a multi-year partnership to develop programs that encourage students to pursue STEM education and careers.
