Portland Business Alliance unveils updated brand, new website

Alliance reveals new brand identity at Annual Breakfast event

PORTLAND, Ore. – The Portland Business Alliance unveiled its updated brand and new website this morning at the region’s largest business event, its Annual Breakfast. The event brought together more than 1,000 business and civic leaders and featured keynote speaker, Kevin Stein, president of PCC Structurals and executive vice president of Precision Castparts.

“After 10 years as an organization, it was time to update our brand to better reflect the Portland Business Alliance’s mission and where the organization is headed,” said Sandra McDonough, President & CEO. “Our new tagline – Commerce, Community, Prosperity – communicates our focus on private-sector job retention and creation and the connection between jobs and a healthy and prosperous community.”

The Alliance revealed its updated brand identity and showcased how the new logo and tagline – Commerce, Community, Prosperity - demonstrate what the organization represents. It also announced the launch of the Alliance’s new website.

Along with the brand reveal, the 2013 Annual Breakfast event highlighted keynote speaker, Kevin Stein of PCC Structurals and Precision Castparts, who spoke about the company’s past growth, future plans and the role of trade in the region’s economy. The Alliance honored Preston Pulliams, retiring president of Portland Community College, for his dedication to improving educational achievement in the region. Charles Wilhoite of Willamette Management Associates was also honored for being an instrumental leader in the community.
