Oregon Zoo welcomes young polar bear, Nora

Nora, the Oregon Zoo’s youngest polar bear, is making her Northwest debut. On Nov. 28, the zoo reopened her public viewing areas, which were closed to minimize distractions for Nora as she got used to her new surroundings. The zoo says she is typically most active before 11 a.m., and being a young bear, she most enjoys taking naps and going to bed early. Updates on her public viewing will be posted on the zoo’s website at www.oregonzoo.org.
