Joe Esmonde of IBEW 48 reappointed to TriMet board of directors, honored with The Wayne Morse Award of Integrity and Passion

Joe Esmonde, a business representative for the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers Local 48, has been confirmed by the Oregon State Senate to his second term on TriMet’s board of directors.  Joe serves as the representative of District 3, representing outer Southwest Portland, Tigard, King City, and parts of Beaverton.  Joe was originally appointed to the TriMet board in May 2013.
 
Joe Esmonde was honored with The Wayne Morse Award of Integrity and Passion at the Wayne Morse Gala hosted by The Democratic Party of Oregon. Joe plays a key role as a liaison between the members of the IBEW Local 48 and Democratic Leadership. He is a leading advocate of Democrats’ policies and has been instrumental in delivering the Democratic message to all members. More information.
