Intel awards $4 million in grants and scholarships to science and engineering students

This year, 1,600 young scientists from around the world were chosen to compete in the Intel International Science and Engineering Fair. The Intel Foundation awarded the grand prize of $75,000 to a young Romanian scientist, Ionut Budisteanu, and a $50,000 prize to Eesha Khare of Saratoga, California and Henry Lin of Shreveport, Louisiana. In addition to those winners, more than 500 finalists received awards for their innovative research. A program of Society for Science & the Public, Intel’s International Science and Engineering Fair is the world’s largest high school science research competition. More information >>
