Go Box has been chosen as a semi-finalist in the Ewing Marion Kauffman Foundation’s “One in a Million” pitch competition for startup entrepreneurs. The company is among 15 startups from nine states ranging from Oregon to Florida. The semifinalists will travel to the Kauffman Foundation in Kansas City during Global Entrepreneurship Week for the chance to become one of five finalists who will compete in a live-streamed event on Nov. 18. A panel of independent judges evaluated contestants’ business plans and pitch videos before selecting the 15 semifinalists to compete for a grand prize of $10,000. The second- and third-place winners will receive $5,000 and $1,000, respectively. More information.
