Bank of America donates $370,000 to Portland nonprofits

Bank of America’s Charitable Foundation donated $355,000 to 24 nonprofits in the Portland-area that work to provide access to workforce development and education in the Portland and Vancouver area. Some of the organizations that received funding include All Hands Raised, Clark Community College Foundation, PCC Foundation and Right Brain Initiative. The organizations that received grants support financial education, small businesses/economic development, higher education, youth and mentorship and education. More information.

Bank of America donated $15,000 to “I Have a Dream” Oregon, bringing its total contributions in recent years to $47,000. The donation supports the advancement of 1,100 low-income students in Portland during their transition from high school to post-secondary education. Bank of America’s donation enabled the organization to implement key priorities to improve the program’s services. More information.
