The Portland Business Journal named its 2016 Corporate Philanthropy Award winners. Arnerich Massena received one of the “Innovations in Philanthropy” awards for its I AM Learning Partnership community service program. Since the program’s inception, the firm has assisted more than 4,000 students develop academic and social skills, and its employees have volunteered more than 85,000 hours working with children.
Other Alliance members honored with the Business Journal’s Corporate Philanthropy Awards included: Bank of America, Cambia Health Solutions, Harsch Investment Properties, Kaiser Permanente, Nike, Portland General Electric, Providence Health & Services, U.S. Bank and Wells Fargo in the Large Company category. In the Medium Company category, winners included Ferguson Wellman Capital Management, Becker Capital Management, Gerding Edlen Development, Sure ID, Inc., The Partners Group, Unitus Community Credit Union and the Portland Timbers/Thorns FC. Additionally, Albina Community Bank, Barran Liebman, Morel Ink, Vista Capital and Washington Trust Bank, who won in the Small Company category.
