Greater Portland Inc. is the region's only private-sector-led economic development initiative. Their mission is to promote the greater Portland-Vancouver MSA to bring good companies and jobs to the region and to support and grow the diverse businesses that have made their home here. The Prosperity Index is an overview of the region that shows the data behind our region and why it attracts so many people.





Portland Development Commission helps make Portland a great place to live and tries to keep it that way. Their staff focuses on three areas: Housing, Neighborhood Revitalization and Business Retention, Expansion and Recruitment. Every year the Fact Book provides an overview of the Portland metropolitan area and makes the case for the region as an excellent location for doing business.
